Over the last week or so I’ve been on a bit of a book buying spree.
Can’t remember the last time I bought this many books at the same time – now I just need to find time to read them (and the others waiting to be read on my shelves!)
I’ve picked up….
Last Ones Left Alive by Sarah Davis-Goff. The only one of this set I didn’t actually buy. This is from the New Books subscription package that I won in a twitter competition. I’ve discovered books I’d never have come across otherwise through this and Last Ones Left Alive is another example of this. It sounds good though.
The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary. Another book I had an e-arc of last year. Despite buying copies for other people I hadn’t got myself one, so when I saw it for a great price I had to bring it home. One of my favourite books of last year.
Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castell. I’ve been meaning to start this series for ages so I couldn’t resist picking this up when I saw it. Just the type of fantasy I’m in the mood for right now.
The Dark Vault by V.E. Schwab. I’d not heard of this series until there was an item based on it in a recent Illumicrate box. I looked it up and loved the sound of it.
The Animals at Lockwood Manor by Jane Healey. I’ve been aware of this one for a while now so had to pick it up to have a look when I saw it had been published. This book is so beautiful to look at and the story sounds brilliant too.
The Lost Future of Pepperharrow by Natash Pulley. I read an e-arc of this and loved it, the hardback is beautiful too.
The Holdout by Graham Moore. Love the sound of this one it’s exactly the type of crime novel I enjoy.
