Sunshine in March #BookTag

At the end of February the lovely Inge: The Belgian Reviewer tagged me in her Sunshine in February post and challenged me to answer the questions she set. Being a bit slow, I’ve changed it to Sunshine in March (I’m sure we could all do with some) On to those questions and answers…

My cat enjoying the March sunshine (what little of it we’ve had!)

Text Message or Call?

Usually text but call (or facetime) for my parents.

Do you read before bed?

Of course! Often on my phone though rather than a physical book.

Salt or Sweet?

Do you believe in love at first sight?

No, but I do believe in ‘like’ at first sight. Love takes time.

Do you have a special strategy to get more followers for your blog?

Nope, to be honest, I don’t really have a strategy at all. I post on my blog and chat on Twitter. That’s it really, I just like talking books!

Sandals or Sneakers?

Sneakers (or Trainers). I rarely wear sandals even in the middle of summer.

Name one book you read (or bought) because of the cover

The Watchmaker of Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley. Absolutely gorgeous cover and turned out to be a great read too.

Hamburgers or Hotdogs?

Hamburgers, especially if they come with cheese.

What is the most recent book you couldn’t finish?

The Last Dog on Earth by Adrian J Walker. I just didn’t get on with it at all.

A skirt or pants?

Trousers every time. I pretty much only wear dresses for Weddings!

What was your favourite holiday so far and why?

Ooh, tough one. Our Honeymoon. We went to New York and it was amazing.

Now time for me to ask some questions!

  • #1 early bird or Night owl?
  • #2 Tea or Coffee?
  • #3 Cats or Dogs?
  • #4 what’s your favourite genre to read?
  • #5 what’s your favourite genre to watch?
  • #6 Favourite book you read last year?
  • #7 Bookmark or fold down corners?
  • #8 Summer or Winter?
  • #9 Hardback, paperback or e-reader?
  • #10 favourite book you own?
  • #11 Book you’re most looking forward to reading?

I’d love to hear your answers if you want to take part
